Love Yourself

It sounds like a simple question but how many of us love ourselves for who we are. I have so many callers who go through moments of wanting to purge themselves or cleanse themselves of who they are. One of my favorite sissies called me a few days ago and told me she cleaned out her closet (That’s like thousands of dollars, by the way) and gave it all to Good Will and was going to just “be a man.”

After I picked myself off the floor as to why she didn’t offer me all those heels she just gave away, I started to think about why she felt that guilt for being a beautiful sissy. What I find sad is she is not the only one who goes through these purge moments only to go max out the credit cards to buy all new stuff. Well, I can see the fun in that, I guess.

Accepting Yourself

In my opinion that is where it begins. Can we accept ourselves even though we may be or are different than society’s norms?

It’s hard to stand up to judgemental family and friends. It seems so many times the one’s who should love and support us the most are the one’s we end up counting on the least.

It’s important to surround yourself with people who accept you and love you. If you can try and limit your time with the toxic influences in your life that would make you feel like purging yourself. You will find you respond well to the positivity or the lack of negativity.
